Day 1
Marina di Scarlino – Procchio – Marciana Marina
Release the mooring early in the morning to reach Procchio. Its beautiful beach is 1 km long, and it is a very frequented destination thanks to the fine sand and the uncontaminated sea. Procchio is the ideal place for the first dive of this intense week. You can overnight in Marciana Marina, one of the characteristic towns of Elba, set among sea and mountains.
Day 2
Marciana Marina – Capraia
Today’s destination is Capraia, where you can admire all the beauties of its sea, the inlets, unreachable by land, and the unforgettable panoramas. Pay attention to weather forecasts: Capraia is exposed to Libeccio, Sirocco and Mistral. If the wind blows fast, you can moor in the small harbour of the island or use the buoys to have a safe anchorage.
Day 3
Capraia – Fetovaia – Marina di Campo
Head back to Elba and stop in Marina di Campo, one of the most fascinating bays of the island. When Southern winds are blowing fast, you can have a safe anchorage: the jetty is not sufficient, and mooring could be difficult in this situation. Don’t forget to have a lunch or a dinner in one of the typical restaurants: food will make you crazy!
Day 4
Marina di Campo – Giglio (Campese)
Point the bow towards Giglio! The beach of Campese is the biggest of the island and it is divided by a central reef, that encloses the inlet of the bay, surrounded by imposing cliffs. The entire coast is jagged by cliffs interspersed with bays and inlets. In Giglio Campese, the tower shields the island from the second half of the XVI Century… you have nothing to fear!
Day 5
Giglio (Campese) – Porto Santo Stefano
Lift the sails and go to Porto Santo Stefano, a picturesque marine burg along the coast of Monte Argentario. Porto Santo Stefano is situated on a bay, dominated by the Spanish fortress, which reminds its troubled history. The view you can admire from the terrace of the fortress is amazing. Not to be missed: Take a walk along Lungomare dei Navigatori and in Piazza dei Rioni, perfect to relax.
Day 6
Porto Santo Stefano – Marina di Scarlino
It is the last day of this holiday made of sailing, wind and sea. You have to head back to Marina di Scarlino. Stop for one last dive at Formiche di Grosseto. These three isles, thanks to their distance from the coast, are real uncontaminated natural paradises and will be perfect to say goodbye to the blue sea of the Tuscan Archipelago.
